"Micromega", a gigantic space traveler from the distant planet Sirius, roaming the universe in the company of a somewhat smaller inhabitant of Saturn, makes a chance stop on our little Earth in the saving year 1737 and, quite unexpectedly, he meets a group of distinguished scientists of the human species - who, by the way, are barely visible on the tip of his fingernail. Result of all this? A short but unrepeatable interplanetary dialogue from the pen of the "giant" Voltaire, who, in addition to being the founder of the Enlightenment, may also have invented with his Micromega what we now call "scientific fantasy".
