The Doors' fifth studio album inspires graphic novelist Leah Moore to reconstruct the libertarian climate of assertion and questioning that ignited in the late '60s, and she does so in collaboration with the living members of the legendary band that stamped the (counter)culture of the time, but also with the help of twelve separate illustrators. Among them a Greek, Vassilis Lolos, holder of Eisner and Harvey awards! This release was decided on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the release of the Morrison Hotel album, of course it has as its central theme the band itself, but it is also a panorama of the 60s and 70s, with the struggle of minorities for equality and the background of Vietnam War.
